is connected to a battery-operated perimeter switch. To start the mower, the user presses a button on the
perimeter switch which directs the mower to advance to the wire and trim the lawn along it. When the mower
completes the perimeter, the user presses another button to instruct the mower to cut the lawn within the

Pneumatic sensors allow the mower to stop when it hits an obstacle. Perimeter wire can be placed to guide
the mower around flower beds and trees. The mower can be programmed for a specific time limit, or left to
mow until its batteries are depleted. A full charge lasts about 3 ½ hours. The robot also has a control unit
for manual use.
