On October 5, Steve Jobs, co-founder, Chairman, and CEO of Apple, Inc., lost his battle with pancreatic cancer. Jobs' introduction of the Macintosh personal computer, the iPod, and the iPhone not only spawned new industries, but changed the way people interacted with their world. Extraordinary Items

In February, we introduced The Light Cycle, an illuminated, street-legal motorcycle inspired by the computer-animated cycle from the 2010 film Tron: Legacy. Electroluminescent strips built into the tire cowlings, wheel rims, and body illuminate the cycle. Powered by a fuel injected Suzuki 996cc, 4-stroke engine, each motorcycle is built to order and sells for $55,000.

Our Mid-Summer Supplement features The 20 Foot Animatronic Triceratops, a motion-sensing replica of the 67-million-year-old Cretaceous creature. Motion-activated cameras in its eyes recognize onlooker's facial features, triggering head bobbing, stomping and scuffing of its feet, and realistic vocalizations from its hidden 1,000-watt speaker. Crafted by professional sculptors for museum display, the massive creature can be added to a personal menagerie for $350,000.
