The teppanyaki grill is mounted to a wheeled stainless steel cart and all of its electric components are sealed to resist moisture, ensuring ease of mobility and safe storage outdoors. The entire surface of the teppanyaki is the cooktop--just like the grills in Japanese steakhouses--and its open design allows you to interact with guests as you cook. The patented cooking surface automatically forms a subtle concave bowl in the center when it is heated, causing flavorful juices to pool and naturally baste food as it cooks. The outermost 3" of the cooktop maintains only 50% of the temperature of the center of the grill, allowing you to sear steaks in the middle and gently warm vegetables on the outside. The cold-pressed and hand-welded cooktop is made of 3/16"-thick 304 stainless steel that provides even heat distribution and withstands rigorous searing and sautéing. Powered by electricity, the grill reaches the highest cooking temperature in less than two minutes and adjusts from 120° F to 430° F at the turn of a dial, allowing you to cook everything from pancakes to lobster tails. The 21 1/2" x 19 1/2" teppanyaki accommodates enough stir-fry for up to 20 people or 30 8-oz. filet mignons. A solid European hornbeam wood cutting board pulls out from the cart and can be set atop the grill for a convenient prep station.
