Made in the Spanish region of Catalonia, renowned for its terra-cotta brick industry, the 810-piece kit teaches schematic architecture through load-bearing walls, peaks, columns, and stairs, and the blueprints demonstrate the basics of running bond bricklaying--the most common overlapping pattern used in masonry. The lightweight, small trowel enables young hands to spread mortar across shingles and bricks, and build homes with windows, doors, and garages that open and close.
