Built 30% larger than reproductions made in the early 1980s, the ship measures over 2' across and includes intricate, authentic details. The exterior replicates details including the sensor dish, dorsal quad-turbolaser turret, forward floodlights, auto-opening boarding ramp, and the six heat exhaust vents. The interior includes an illuminated cockpit that accommodates four figures, removable secret floor panels, medical bay, gunner station, and a crew/engineering compartment with an illuminated Dejarik table. Includes illuminated front floodlights, landing lights, and hyperdrive, which emits its classic whine and blast sounds. The turbolasers produce the movies' characteristic pinging laser sound. It also produces the words of characters from the movies, including the beeps of R2-D2, growls of Chewbacca, the wisdom of Obi-Wan Kenobi, and more. A lightsaber training probe suspends from the crew compartment's ceiling and makes swooshing lightsaber sounds.
