The Remote Controlled 4 1/2 Foot Air Force Two.
This is the remote controlled 4 1/2' long Boeing C-32 modeled after the Vice President's jet airplane--Air Force Two--with two electric ducted fan jets that provide powerful thrust and a 50" wingspan that provides extensive lift for controlled soaring. The plane is launched using an elastic cord staked into the ground. Pulling back and releasing the plane provides enough air moving across the wings to generate lift--engaging the two turbofan replicas from the two-channel remote control provides powered flight up to a range of 1,000'. The engines use vectored thrust to steer the craft left and right. The plane's strong EPP foam construction provides a forgiving frame during grass landings; the only assembly required is attaching the wings and the vertical tail. Its on-board rechargeable batteries (two are included) provide 8-minute flight times. Includes a car charger and an AC charger that fully charge either battery in 30 minutes. Transmitter requires six AAA batteries. Ages 12 and up. 34" L x 50" W x 3" H. (1 lb.)
