The Caller Announcing Large View Telephones.
Unlike lesser telephones with hard-to-read caller ID displays, these have a large display and an audible feature that announces the names of each caller. The cordless handset has an amplified earpiece that increases high-frequency sounds, enhancing clarity, while flashing LEDs visually alert users to incoming calls and new voice messages. The oversized buttons are backlit and a large LCD with numbers 1 1/2 times larger than standard telephones clearly shows the name and number of incoming calls. The telephones have an emergency feature that can be programmed to call 911 or any emergency contact at the touch of a button. In the event of power failure, the corded telephone base will retain emergency and speed dialing functions, while allowing incoming and outgoing calls. Operates on the 1.9 GHz DECT band that avoids the crowded 2.4 and 5.8 GHz frequencies used by other cordless telephones, resulting in interference-free calls. Compatible with all inductive coupled hearing aids. Caller ID and voicemail require subscription with telephone company. Includes corded and cordless telephones. Corded telephone base: 5" H x 7" W x 8 1/3" D. (2 1/2 lbs.) Cordless telephone: 9 1/2" H x 3 1/4" W x 4 1/3" D. (1 lb.)
