The Ku Hoe He'e Nalu Board.
Was $799.95 NOW $399.95
Evoking an ancient form of surfing that developed in Polynesia centuries ago, this is the inflatable paddle surfboard--Ku Hoe He'e Nalu literally means "to stand, to paddle, to surf a wave"--that allows beginners to stand up and paddle while surfing. An inflatable version of the boards that can be observed today in Waialua Bay on Oahu's infamous North Shore or Maliko Bay in Maui, it is constructed of durable drop-stitched polyethylene. It can be inflated up to 10 psi using the included high-pressure manual pump and gauge, providing maximum rigidity and buoyancy, making it wider and thicker (and more stable) than a traditional surfboard. A 4" raised tip prevents the nose diving under the water and three removable fins enable consistent tracking. A large EVA foot pad ensures a comfortable grip while you transition your feet to "surf stance" when riding a wave. The 72" polyethylene paddle serves as a rudder as you carve your way back and forth across the face of a wave. The paddle breaks down into two pieces. Includes 23" x 40" backpack for easy transport. Ages 13 and up. 130" L x 30" W x 3" H. (22 lbs.)
