The Arctic Exploration Parka.
This is the Arctic exploration parka made in Iceland and used by the country's National Search and Rescue Team. It can protect against temperatures as low as -22º F because it is filled with high-quality 600-weight goose down for unequalled warmth. The durable outer shell is made from nylon treated with a microporous polyurethane coating that prevents water and snow from permeating the fabric, but allows moisture to evaporate. Its seams are fully sealed and taped, providing a superior waterproof yet breathable fabric. The elbows are pre-articulated, providing additional mobility in cold climates. It has six front pockets with hook-and-loop and zipper closures, and a zippered chest pocket inside the shell. The detachable hood's ruff is made of raccoon fur; and it secures using the keeper strap. With inner sleeve storm cuffs. Red or Black. Sizes S (36), M (38), L (40-42), and XL (44-46). (3 3/4 lbs.)
