Knievel, who set the world record by jumping over 19 cars, preferred riding his chopper when not performing stunts. Approved and certified for accuracy by Knievel's son Kelly, the cycle's 12-volt motor tops out at a conservative 4 mph, ideal for a child's leisurely spin around the block. A twist of the throttle propels the chopper; releasing the throttle disengages the motor, bringing the cycle to a stop. A switch on the chassis changes direction from forward to reverse. The chopper features a low-slung seat, high handlebars, extended front fork, and chrome-finish trim. Equipped with a working headlight and training wheels, the chopper is decorated with Knievel's iconic patriotic detailing. Includes a numbered certificate of authenticity.
