The device automatically maintains 16 mbar (the optimal pressure for preserving foodstuffs) and reduces air moisture that can encourage mold growth. To access food, simply press the vacuum-release button and lift the lid. About the size of a breadbox, the container is large enough to hold a loaf of bread.
