This is the remote controlled helicopter that adds side-to-side drifting movement to its repertoire, unlike other helicopters that can only move up and down or spin in-place. Two horizontally oriented mini-rotors on either side of the fuselage provide this helicopter's unique lateral movement. Moving the left control stick on the remote to the left or right causes these rotors to spin in opposite directions, resulting in a slight roll that initiates the side-to-side movement. It has two contra-rotating coaxial main rotors that use gyroscopic inertia to keep the copter balanced during conventional up, down, back, and forward flight. Its rechargeable battery provides seven-minute flight times from a 40 minute charge using either the remote or a USB connection to a computer. Requires six AA batteries.
