I use this in the kitchen, bathroom, and in the entryway. It doesn't get the floor as clean as scrubbing on your hands and knees, but it does do a better job than mopping, and it takes a lot less energy, too.

Washing the floors used to be my most hated household chore, but now Scooba has it covered for me. And the Enzyme cleaner can be used independently for other cleaning chores.

Now if only they had automatic carpet steamers, too.

I will say that the battery life is unimpressive. I've already had to buy a replacement. I'd rather keep buying replacement batteries than have to go back to mopping/scrubbing my own floors, though.

This is one splurge purchase that I do not regret. NEVER have my floors looked so good with so little effort. Simple to use and a breeze to clean (literally, it takes less than a minute to prep it for the next round of cleaning)- and although this little guy is not exactly quiet as he works, I find myself smiling every time he tackles the next job. The Scooba enzyme cleaner is nice, but I am finding that I prefer plain water with vinegar. Works great. I was worried that my dog would not like our new "Scoobie" (she detests my vacuum and hides whenever she sees me bring it out), but it turns out to be a non-issue. If anything, she seems mildly amused...sniffs it and walks away. Such a great feeling to come home to a clean house EVERY day. Did I mention that I love my Scooba?

I use Scooba instead of mopping. We live in a heavy snowfall area with two dogs. It cleans the floors very well with repeated runnings. It is very sensitive to uneven floors or dropoffs. If you set up enough virtual (or physical) walls, this problem goes away. It does take a while to determine what is making Scooba stop and how to optimally set up walls.

Great on tile and terrazzo. When running along grout lines, will begin to clean them on second or third pass. Much easier to clean between cycles and far better battery life than my now discarded first generation machine was. I let the roomba go first, then the scooba mops up. Together they keep up well with the constant messes generated by the pets, bird and dog.

It cleans the open spaces of a room pretty well, but doesn't really do corners at all and cleans badly along wall edges. You have to clean the unit with each use, which takes as much time as damp mopping the floor yourself. I will probably return it.

I just adopted a large dog with huge feet that track dirt in on my tile which had always been very clean until his arrival. The Scooba has made this easier to resolve.

I've learned that large areas are best done in two halves using the virtual wall. Also, it is very important to clean the screen, vacuum port & brush assembly in between uses and put them back in the unit just right. It's also important to seat the water tank correctly. The first couple of times these things seemed rather cumbersome, but after a few runs they have become second nature.

Yes, it is rather loud & it communicates with beeps, but the fact that it is doing the floor while I do other things far outweighs this. The beep sequences actually sound rather happy.

The Scooba did drip water and leaves spots. Instructions not adequate, customer service not that helpful either. There is a suction pump included, don't know what that is for, not in instructions. I called my hardwood floor installer who stated that it voids the warranty and that no hardwood floor is sealed between boards. Did great job on tile floor.
