This is the children’s “Red Baron” pedal bi-plane inspired by the iconic Murray “Silver Pursuit” from the 1940s. Like that classic pedal plane, this toy aircraft is constructed with an all-metal fuselage and wings. The plane’s chrome-finish propeller spins as young pilots pedal, while its 8"-diam. metal wheels with solid rubber tires provide smooth “flights” over sidewalks and driveways. A sealed ball bearing drive ensures a flying ace’s trousers (and scarf) won’t get tangled as he pedals in search of enemy aircraft. The bi-plane is finished in gleaming red powder coating that will endure years of aerial combat, and detailed with vintage-style graphics.
