This is the bird perch that's handcarved from a real coffea tree, providing birds with a natural habitat to play on. Painstakingly crafted from a single coffee tree that's 25 to 35 years old, the perch is stripped of its bark, shaped and sanded by hand, and dried in a 150º F kiln to preserve its natural strength and durability. Unlike typical trees, the coffea tree's twisting branches grow horizontally and have varied diameters, providing a comfortable perch for birds of any size to rest or walk on. The 4'-tall tree has seven to 10 branches that are spaced far enough apart to provide birds room to play and flap their wings, and the trunk has two three-dimensional birds carved into its surface. Two bowls affixed to the perch hold bird seed and two hanging toys will tempt even the most stoic bird to poke them with its beak.
