Product Story

This is the diver's watch that uses patented illumination technology 10X brighter than watches using tritium tubes alone. Highly visible in darkened underwater conditions, the watch's three hands and hour markers provide intense, initial brightness using a strontium aluminate coating that spans the time of most recreational dives, recharging to its original intensity when exposed to light. As the intensity fades over several hours, tritium gas-filled tubes built into the hour/minute hands and the 12-, 3-, 6-, and 9 o'clock positions provide reliable illumination for up to 25 years, the only technology to combine both illumination techniques. Completely resistant to salt water and weighing 40% lighter than stainless steel, the solid-forged titanium case, screw-down crown, and caseback provide a rigid, watertight seal that ensures water resistance to 990'. A window clearly displays the day of the week while its unidirectional rotating bezel measures elapsed time underwater. A 3.5mm scratch-resistant K1 crystal protects the face. The watch's precise Miyota quartz movement and 10-year lithium battery ensures reliable timekeeping. The adjustable band fits wrists 5"-8 1/2" and attaches to the case with solid, threaded screw bars, eschewing the unreliable spring bars common to lesser timepieces. Case 1.79" Diam. x .54" thick.
