The Picea abies used for the frame is pre-stained and laminated to meet EN 14080 and EN 386 material standards, ensuring outdoor enjoyment season after season. The gazebo can withstand 80-mph wind gusts, has a 28-lb. per square-foot snow load, and the structure is large enough to enclose a hot tub or a table and chairs. Almost 10' tall at the center, the octagonal gazebo has eight floor-to-ceiling 4 mm-thick polycarbonate panels that provide a 360º view, four of which open and close to let in a breeze or seal out rain and insects. In addition to vents in the transparent roof and a wind-driven fan, the center dome can be lowered and raised for air circulation.
