This is the field bag modeled after rucksacks used by Canadian officers during World War II. Only a few of these bags are handcrafted each week by a Canadian company that faithfully recreates the rugged details of the original yet updates the satchel with a divided main compartment for a 13" laptop. Made of 100% waxed nylon with an Italian leather bottom and straps, this bag bears an antique brass registration plate that recalls the nameplates used to identify Canadian military bags left behind in the field. The front flap secures with two leather straps, the 1 1/2"-wide leather shoulder strap adjusts from 30" to 50" long and attaches to the bag via clips with rotating joints, and three interior pocket provide convenient storage for a cell phone, wallet, and writing implements. 13" H x 6" W x 14" L (2 1/2 lbs.)
