This is the wine opener that allows you to pour a glass of wine without removing the cork. The unit inserts a thin, hollow needle through an unopened wine bottle’s cork and releases argon gas into the bottle, allowing wine to flow through the needle and into a glass. When the needle is removed the cork reseals, protecting the remaining wine from oxidation and allowing it to continue to age for years. The device clamps to any size bottle with an adjustable, high-tension spring and the needle is coated with Teflon, enabling it to glide smoothly through foil and cork without damaging the latter.
