My husband used to pile up 4 or 5 various pillows and then lounge against them to read or watch TV in bed. In doing so, he would push our feather-bed down away from the headboard and over the edge on his side of the bed. I had to re-make our king-size bed several times a week, AND I WAS NOT HAPPY. When I saw the H-S bed lounger, I thought it might be a solution. And it is!! Its firm construction and go-nowhere quality keeps it--- and him--- firmly and comfortably in place. Thank you, H-S!!

I purchased this for my wife - suffering from Parkinsons and thus has limited mobility - she found the upholstered arms to be too high for her and could not sit / recline a bit with her arms outside the arms - too confining - but regrettably this is necessary for her to easily have access to drinks, medicines, food , etc. placed on her adjacent night table. I was hoping it would work for her, but we have returned to organizing pillows etc. in stead and put the bed lounger back in the box for storage.

Comes with documented odor issues

I was excited to get receive it, DISAPPOINTED that it smelled so strong I couldn't use it immediately. It came with a notice to air it out before using. If that is the case, the company should have done this before shipping. It's probably the best of all of the options available, but it could be more comfortable. All in all, it's better than not having one. I would have paid double for a more comfortable one than did not have odor issues. There's an opportunity for some company to do it better.

Love to Lounge!

As others have mentioned the arms are a bit high, but I can live with that! I use it on an wrought iron bed and it works fine. Somoene mentioned you needed a wall to rest it against, but with lots of negative space on my headboard it works great!

Overall is a good product, it's not perfect but it's good. It doesn't do magic but it will help you if you have a spine problem. It tends to slip away from your spine hence you need to constantly adjust the lounge to your comfort level. That is the only thing that isn't good about it.
Using Less Pillows For Bad Back

I use this product for reclining in bed during the day. I have a bad back. I tend to lean on my side rather than sitting up straight and the side supports are great.I use to use a big pile of pillows, now I just need a few to build a sloping support to lay on.The head rest is great and just right, however, since I am short I take the head rest out and turn it upside down and adjust it to where I can use it.The lower back pillow that comes with the lounger is really a waste of material. It is too soft and not really big enough to do anything to help.I am very happy with my lounger espcially with the sturdy surrounding support I get for my body.
