Proven to eliminate up to 99.9% of germs like E. coli and Staphylococcus, the unit vibrates 8,000 times per minute and uses tap water to clean dental aids in five minutes without the need for chemicals. The unit stores unobtrusively on a vanity or in a duffel bag and automatically shuts off after a five-minute cycle. UV bulb is rated for 10,000 hours of use. Happy to discard the old tablet method, both my husband and I find this unit to be a huge step up!This method is hygienically superior and can be used for dentures as well as athletic mouthguards, so our entire family is very happy.

I use this for my bite guard and have used it for years. I clean and sanitize the bite guard daily, then take it to my dentist for a thorough cleaning when I'm there every 6 months. It did eat through batteries, so I bought an adapter. Sometimes water runs out the bottom and it has gotten a bit corroded. I also clean it every now and then with bleach.

The size is my only problem. My husbands upperdenture does not fit nicely in the container.Maybe he has a big mouth? (No comment)I like the idea alot that's why I purchased it butit does have it's limitations.

Battery waste

This thing needs to be redesigned to allow for a detachable AC adapter. Then it would work well all of the time. I've had mine for a year and chowed through at least 24 batteries in that time. It's incredibly wasteful and harmful to the environment. Yes, I could use rechargeables, I know. But a better design would be best.

I love this device.I place my dental appliance in it in the morning along with fresh water. The UV treatment runs for 20 minutes then automatically shuts off. My appliance remains in the devise for the day and is sanitized and ready to go at night.

My retainers are 30 years old,I had been using Lime Away to remove the tartar build up, and I dreaded the monthly chore. Now I weekly clean the retainers, whitening trays and removable sonic toothbrush heads and I actually look forward to doing it.
