I have Multiple Sclorsis and have very sensitive feet so trimming my nails is a problem. I use the pedicure kit and it worked like a charm. I had no problem with the devise and the results were perfect for me.

I have suffered with toenail fungus for years, so my toenails are very thick and discolored. My manual attempts with a nail file and clippers brought very minimal results, and professional pedicures became a waste. With this product I was able to reduce the thickness of my toenails, thus allowing the topical treatments I use to penatrate fully. The nails also look worlds better. I have sanded off the discolored areas and actually made them look acceptable for Summer sandals. I should have purchased this a long time ago. There are others on the market, but the Hammacher model proved heavy duty and reliable. If you have nail fungus, or even if you just want to keep your nails professionally groomed and looking their best, you won't be sorry.

Really great for sanding off callous's on your heals. Also great for cuticle clean up on toes. It comes with several attachments. Both my husband and I use it. Beats manual filing of callous's and creams. I would recommend purchase although expensive.

I have a form of onychomycosis which causes thickening of the toenail. The Precision Pedicure system allows me to take care of my own nails, without the services of expensive podiatrists. I am able to effecitvely sand the excessive nail down to a normal thickness and the tiny files allow me to get down close to the nail bed, relieving pressure on the skin and making the topical application of treatments more effecitve.

Comes with a nice assortment of tools that do a decent job. Everything is top quality. The motor can be adjusted to varying speeds but the unit seems to overheat rapidly with extended use.

I replaced a German-made battery powered pedicure system, which worked quite well until it died after 4 years of regular use, with an inexpensive single-speed battery-powered device that stalled whenever it came in contact with anything resistant like skin or nail. I had seen the Precision Pedicure System in the Hammacher Schlemmer catalog but was reluctant to spend the money. However after putting up with a device whose buzz was bigger than its buff, I bit the bullet and purchased the Precision Pedicure System. With the exception of the somewhat clumsy power unit, it is compact, easy to use, has several speeds and doesn't poop out when put through its paces. I use it after every shower to keep my feet looking human - I was born with talons instead of toes. With a full complement of bits, it lives up to my expectations. It is worth every penny. Since this is a recent purchase, I unfortunately cannot report on its durability.

This product seems to do a decent job but I would not call it salon-grade as it cannot be used for any extended period of grooming. It overheats and then shuts off. This is good for safety but definitely prolongs the time needed to do a pedicure. Don't know if mine is defective or if this is the way it was designed.

I liked the idea but the instructions for use, especially regarding speed to use and, maybe, how to apply different heads for those who have never used a machine like this before. It seems well made, durable but I just could not recommend it to a first timer.
