This product actually does keep the mosquitoes at bay. I really dislike using spray as I always feel like I need to shower after to get rid of the "sticky" feeling. With this just remove & voila done. The only issue I have with it is when bending over a lot in the garden it does have a tendency to fall off. It runs off 2 AA batteries, but I have been using this item for several years now & I usually get a full season from one set of batteries with no problem! I love this product!

The odor is so strong that I cannot wear it or be close to it to make it effective. I bought 4 of these since I was going to Minnesota and the Mosquitos are really thick, however the smell of the product was really unbearable and I won't use again. If I could I would return them for a refund.

Insect repellent gadgets I have bought before are usually a waste of money and I still get bitten. Surprise!! This one really works. In a 5 day period in the woods of Maine where the mosquitoes are hungry and plentiful, I got only 2 bites.

Mosquitoes just hatched. Wore the personal repeller attached to belt. Received about 10 mosquito bites in as many minutes. Seems to be effective if you hold it over your head and wave it but that is inefficient and defeats the purpose. Its going back.

Mosquitos love me! I am allergic to Deet. This mosquito repeller is one of the best solutions I have found so far to ward off the mosquitos during Canadian cottage country summers. I would say that for me it has been 70% effective. Easy to use, light weight, just clip it on your belt. Only downside is the smell of the geranium but I find it more pleasant that the aroma of citronella. I will continue to use this product.
