This is the only pedestal lighted vanity mirror with tri-fold mirrors that provide a view of the face from every angle. The entire mirror head tilts 40º and the adjustable tri-fold mirrors open fully and can be closed to protect against smudges and scratches. The optical quality 7 1/2"-diameter center mirror has a 1X mirror on one side that rotates to a 10X magnification mirror on the reverse side for close-up grooming. It is surrounded by a dimmable fluorescent light (a first for makeup mirrors) that mimics natural daylight. The substantial 6 1/4"-diameter base and 1"-diameter pedestal are made from plated steel to prevent the mirror from tipping over, with a satin nickel finish that hides fingerprints. A dimmer knob adjusts brightness and a 110-volt outlet in the base provides a convenient power source for a curling iron or hair dryer (9 amp maximum).
