This is the fan that emits evaporative mist to cool ambient air temperature by as much as 30º F. Three patented nozzles create microdroplets of mist that feel dry to the touch and evaporate instantly, creating a fan-driven, cooling mist that won't dampen surfaces. The 16"-diameter fan oscillates up to 90º and its blades adjust from 930 to 1,220 rpm to cool up to 200' sq. on a deck or patio. Because flying insects typically avoid wind and moisture, the fan also helps reduce these outdoor nuisances. The fan has a rust- and UV-resistant frame, it connects to a standard hose and uses only 1/2 gallon of water per hour, and its replaceable 5-micron filter removes air and water impurities. Call me sprinkler fan, not misting fan!

As a fan it is fine. As a misting fan, it is disgusting. I might as well have bought a sprinkler and a fan separate for a lot cheaper and it would have the same effect.

What a waste. Stay away

Assembly instructios were not clear and very difficult to read. We use it on our patio and have found it to be very ineffective. You cannot use it for any group gathering because people close to it get wet and those farther away can't feel it. When it is operating, you are tripping on the hose or the cord, both of which are very unattractive when you're entertaining a group.

I was not so sure how this would work when I ordered it. I was so happy when we started using it. Our deck is so hot in the summer and this does an amazing job of cooling it down. I love this so much I ordered another. It amazed us and friends we had over. Highly recommend this !!!

Easy to follow directions and works really well. Have only had it about 2 weeks, cools off the immediate area and the mist really is dry. adjustable height which is nice. I would buy another.

We live in Houston, TX and use the fan on the patio which makes it nice even in the hottest and humid evenings to sit outside while cooking on the BBQ and just sitting around talking. Really enjoying the fan.

I have not yet had the opportunity to use the fan in high heat/humidity, but that will be resolved tomorrow when it is expected to reach 100 degrees F.The fan worked well enough in 90 degrees and 65% humidity by breaking the heat sufficiently to enable us to sit on our deck at a time when without it we would have remained indoors.

Mechanic husband thought instructions very poor. Had to call company when it didn't function. They think pump is defective. They are sending a new product. Hopefully their good customer service is followed by great product. Don't know yet. love the concept and price is reasonable.
