This construction kit uses translucent pegs that light up when connected to create models of arthropods that softly glow red, orange, green, white, purple, and blue. The kit's 84 pegs' 10 different shapes--straight, T- and U-shaped pegs, wheels, flat squares, and more--have built-in, multi-colored LEDs. Each piece easily slides into the next, passing along low voltage current supplied by the included power base which lights each LED. The easy-to-read instructions guide young builders through the construction of eight different models, including an antennaed ant, segmented centipede, and a Brazilian wandering spider.
