This is the multi-troop transport from Star Wars I: The Phantom Menace that deploys 16 battle droids for mechanized playroom assaults. Known as the MTT, the transport rolls into battle on recessed wheels to simulate "hovering" using its anti-gravity repulsorlift. A push of a button opens its armored forward hatch and pushes out a motorized deployment rack that contains two rows of eight battle droids to reinforce the line, complete with authentic operational sounds and droid banter from the movie such as "Prepare to attack!" followed by a compliant "Roger. Roger." Dual front-mounted blaster turrets combine with missile-firing launchers mounted to either side of the pilot's control room to defend the transport. After battles, the droid rows nest into the rack, and a second push of a button retracts the rack into the transport. A rear hatch opens to store four additional articulated droids and an included Obi-Wan Kenobi figure while two side maintenance panels open to display its power generators.
