Built with solid wood stained and varnished for a subdued gloss finish befitting wealthy industrialists, the game's 30" x 30" board includes a 20" x 20" recessed well lined with smooth green felt where 3" x 5" Chance and Community Chest cards reside. The well is ideal for rolling the game's 1" cu. dice, ensuring that the oversized gold-toned, metal-plated playing tokens (the thimble is actually the size of a real thimble), wooden green houses and red hotels remain undisturbed on the raised playing surface.
