This is the converter that transfers images straight from a digital still or video camera to a blank DVD, saving users the hassle of connecting it to a computer. When a blank DVD or CD and a standard memory card are inserted into the device, the touch of a button copies files within minutes (burn speeds up to 8X for DVDs and 24X for CDs). If the data size exceeds the disc space, the device automatically divides files among multiple discs. The LCD screen displays the capacity, burn speed, and other pertinent details about memory cards and discs. Weighing only half a pound and as small as a slice of bread, the device can easily be toted on vacation so shutterbugs can back up or share photos before they get home. The converter also transfers files between discs and USB devices, or between a master and a blank disc. For use with DVD-R/RW or CD-R/RW. Includes AC adapter. 5 1/4" W x 6 3/4" L x 3/4" H. (8 oz.)

Great for Travel

Bought this for my husband and he is well satisfied. He says it will be great for transfering pics from our cameras when we travel as it does multiple sessions per CD/DVD. He was surprised though that the discs would only play in the computer and not on a DVD player.

When copying large files that require multiple CD or DVD if a prolem occures toward the end must start over. ie copying 1/5 if problem occures on 4/5 must start over on 1/5 thus wasting a lot of SD/DVD's.

MEMOERY CARD TO DVD CONVERTOR
By none
from Los Angeles, Ca
I found this product disappointing and over priced for what it does(not what it claims to do).Potential buyers should clearly understand that while the device does transfer SD card information to a DVD, the DVD cannot be played on a TV, portable DVD player etc. This is because all it does is transfer 'bits' of information from one source to another . The final result is un useable until it is formatted on a computer's video program, a process that is quite tedious and of course involves using a computer, which the selling point of the unit claims one has no need to do!
