The garment is treated with EPA-registered permethrin--a synthetic form of a bug repellent derived from chrysanthemum--resulting in wearable, odorless protection against mosquitoes, ticks, ants, flies, chiggers, and no-see-ums. Besides fending off biting insects, the vest blocks harmful UV rays while a mesh back panel lets air circulate so canines stay cool. The insect repellent maintains its effectiveness for 70 machine washings. Sizes XS.
