I have 10 cats, and my mother got this for us for my birthday. I haven't laughed so hard at this herd of cats since the last kitten was a baby - he's 3 now. Two of the cats got it figured out very fast and have attacked the tower, but the tower is just fine...the cats are loving this. And more than 2 can play at a time - even one of my dogs wants to play. :) I am loving this, too. Thanks, Mom...and thanks, HS, for a cool, unique, fun product.

Mostly our two cats sit and stare at the laser light. Occasionally one will start to chase it; then the light abruptly stops and reverses. I think our kitties would like it to keep going a couple of revolutions before it reverses so they could get a good romp. The noise of the motor put them off at first so they focused on the machine and only later started staring at the light.

It is a great toy for the cats. The only issue I have is it is noisy. The gears seem to make the most noise. The timer is not accurate but the cats don't care and play with it till it stops.

We have two dogs that love this device. During Christmas we had the family home and with them we ended up with 7 dogs. The two "sight" hounds would chase the light until they could no longer run around. Then they would lay on the ground and wait for the light to come to them so they could jump at it. The other dogs would chase them as they chased the light but not the light itself. If your dog chases light reflections or laser lights it will love this.

I absolutely love this item. My 3 Persians are all beggers when I bring dinner out. I am finally able to keep them occupied during dinner. They just love it. So funny to watch 3 cats chasing the lights!!!Highly recommend.....
