I purchased this as a gift for relatives in NH. Word back is that the launcher is great!
Good for wet snow
By Betsy, proud Aunt
It snowed a few inches and my 11 year old nephew was so excited to use the new snowball launcher. Unfortunately it was a dry snow, so the snow balls went all of about 5 feet, not the 80' that he was expecting! The next day the snow was more wet, and we compacted more snow in the forming chamber, and it definitely worked better, but still not 80'.
Hammacher Schlemmer Response: Thank you for your comments. The distance a snowball travels depends on the force applied, but can be up to 50 feet.
My grandkids loved it!

Great toy for adults; limited use for younger children. Ours were opened on a snowy Christmas and great fun was had by all. It appears to be a well-made toy, but we've haven't had it long enough to make that a firm statement.
Launcher is a "hit"
