The LEDs cycle through the colors of the rainbow, and, though visible up to 1,485 feet, the glow is not harsh, glaring, or distracting. The ergonomic handle has a comfortable grip, and the umbrella opens manually, snapping smartly into position without latches or buttons, but can be easily lowered without pinching or struggling. Water repellant nylon fabric covers a rustproof steel and fiberglass frame with eight ribs, and the opened umbrella arc spans 48". Three AAA batteries (included) power the light for up to 45 hours.
