Product Story

This is the bison leather money clip inlaid with a genuine buffalo nickel minted between 1913 and 1938. Designed by sculptor James Earl Fraser and one of the most collected coins, the buffalo nickel remains a symbol of the American Plains and is considered by many to be a token of good fortune. The reverse side of the nickel is visible on the clip, displaying the powerful American buffalo, the words “United States of America” and the phrase E pluribus unum-Out of many, one. Exclusive to Hammacher Schlemmer, the money clip has an accompanying two-slot wallet for storing credit cards and identification, and the entire accessory is made of supple, pebbled-grained American bison leather—valued for its long-lasting durability since the early days of the Great Plains tribes. The money clip presses closely against the wallet to hold a single bill as tightly as it secures 20. 3 3/4" L x 2 3/4" W. (2 oz.)
