This is the faithful replica of the clock that hangs outside the gate of the Royal Observatory in England, the first to display Greenwich Mean Time in public. Updated with an accurate quartz movement, this officially licensed half-scale replica includes a chapter ring with roman numerals indicating a full 24 hours, such that the aluminum hands only rotate around the dial once a day. Arabic numerals demarcate the surrounding minute track in five-minute increments, and a large subdial counts the seconds.
