The babouche slippers are made in Fes, Morocco from one piece of supple, pebble-grained leather that’s tanned and double-stitched using the same time-honored techniques used for generations by Moroccan slipper makers. The babouche have open-back heels and are traditionally kept near the front door, allowing Moroccans to quickly slide their feet into comfortable, supple slippers when arriving home.
