This is the rack that stores kindling separately in its own compartment beneath larger split logs on top. The smaller 9"-wide section beneath provides convenient access for kindling at least 10" long. Made from sturdy, powder-coated 2"-wide 14-gauge square steel tubing, the rack keeps up to 1/8th of a cord of wood neatly stacked 4 1/2" above the ground for convenient outdoor storage. Unlike the thin, bent one-piece tubing used in lesser models, the steel ends are bolted together with precisely machined stainless steel hardware that will not rust, providing a lifetime of duty. The included cover is reinforced, waterproof 600-denier imported nylon which protects the wood while facilitating maximum airflow and evaporation to prevent mold and fungus growth.
