This modern homage celebrates those early watches with a slim profile, an open classic dial with even numbers to mark the hours, and practical hour/minute hands that sweep an ivory face. A 60-second subdial at the 6 o’clock position evokes the precisely timed coordination required for a successful advance after an artillery bombardment. The military-inspired 3/4"-wide vegetable-tanned Italian leather strap secures with two metal keepers that keep the extra length—designed for wear over uniforms (or modern garments)—organized and tidy. Accurate Miyota quartz movement provides reliable time-keeping. The face is protected by a scratch-resistant mineral crystal while the inner workings are kept by a splash-resistant, ion-plated brass case and stainless steel case back.
