This is the monocoque sled that riders steer with their feet for rapid carving down slopes, available exclusively from Hammacher Schlemmer. Made from fiber-reinforced high-density polyethylene, the sled produces exhilarating rides when sledders turn the front ski with their feet and lean side-to-side. The 7 1/2"- wide front ski enables sledding on soft powder or packed snow slopes and riders sit in a luge-like position, lowering the rider’s center of gravity to make the sled more stable and enable higher speeds. The undercarriage has stainless steel runners that carve clean, sweeping turns and keep the sled straight when dashing downhill. Handles on the side of the seat provide confidence and stability while turning and riders stop by leaning hard to one side—similar to stopping on a snowboard.
