This is the push sweeper that quickly collects fallen leaves on your lawn and driveway without backbreaking raking and uncomfortable stooping. The sweeper’s flexible plastic combs spin rapidly as you push it, grabbing leaves, grass clippings, pine needles and other small detritus and depositing them into the collection hopper. Its 10"-diameter plastic wheels roll effortlessly on grass or concrete, it covers a 21"-wide swath to quickly clear large areas, and the height of the combs adjusts with a simple twist of a knob. Constructed from sturdy tubular steel and rustproof plastic with a lightweight, 26-gallon nylon collection basket that lifts out easily for emptying. Assembly required. 44" H x 28" W x 12" D. (12 lbs.)

Not the best...
from Cheyenne, Wyoming
Very difficult to use on lawns that have long-cut grass of that have any uneven surfaces. Even on short-cut grass many leaves miss the collection basket and end up back on the grass. Takes several passes to get the lawn really clean.
Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend

With a yard with many trees having an easy way to collect the leaves was needed. This product, while very light seems to do the job. After initial use I have found it to eliminate the bending and raking I used to do. I'm concerned that it might not hold up for the long run but so far so good.
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

About Me Midrange Shopper
This product is not worth much. It has a small carrying capacity, it disassembles itself as you use it, it doesn't pick up leaves very well. if your leaf load is VERY light, it might work but raking would be easier for all other loads. it does not pick up gum tree pods, it will pick up long leaf pine needles but not short. All in all, not worth the money or the effort. Disappointed.

Easy to assemble, however, have not had a reason to try it out yet!First time in my life that I am almost anxious for the leaves to drop!
Not worth the money

Easy to assemble and works great!
I am happy with my purchase!
The product works exactly as I expected, once I got it assembled correctly. I had read these reviews before the purchase, which helped to set my expectations realistically. The lawn sweeper won't help much with the two-foot piles of leaves in my yard. But it is perfect for the areas where there are 4 or 5 layers of leaves, in spite of the uneven ground. With the lawn sweeper I filled four 35-gallon bags of leaves in less than an hour - which I could not have done with a rake - and I did not hurt my back while doing it. I like that the unit is light in weight, making it easy for me to transport it from one property to another, and I really like that It is powered by me! It is great exercise and fun to use, and I don't have to mess with combustion or electric engines!Assembly proved a bit challenging, because the last step in the instructions referred to connectors that had one or two rings around them, and my unit did not have any rings on either connector. I could not ascertain from the instructions exactly how the two connectors for the hopper were intended to be positioned for use in the sweeper. I searched the Internet and found a picture on YouTube from which I ascertained that I had reversed the two connectors, and after I corrected that it worked just fine. If you encounter this, look closely and you will see the connectors marked with an L and R respectively. The "L" connector goes on the left side of the hopper (when you have the sweeper in front of you as if you were about to it).I found the sweeper is more effective when the wind isn't blowing. On windy days some of the leaves are picked up by the sweeper and blown away to land elsewhere in the yard. This could be a detriment if you have a rigid work schedule in a windy climate.
It's a bit expensive for what it is, but works for us.

Have a large Elm tree which sheds twice annually. Leaves are problematic because of our pool.
A novelty item
The product is easy to use. We actually bought it for my 7 year old because he loves yard work. It is probably easier than raking leaves but I don't think it's any faster. It takes a long time to pick up the leaves.
Mixed reviews on this one
I used a lawn sweeper as a kid forty to fifty years ago and it was easy and efficient. This new model didn't pick up leaves and pine needles as well. It was too lightweight and rode across the leaves instead of scooping them up, no matter what level it was set on. It was also hard to get it put together. Directions were written by someone who knew what they were doing and not for someone who didn't.
