Available only from Hammacher Schlemmer, this is these are the earrings expertly crafted from diamonds laboratory-grown to reduce the natural chemical formation process that normally takes millions of years to a matter of months. Without the humanitarian and environmental stigma attached to conventionally mined diamonds, the lab process—chemical vapor deposition (CVD)—produces diamonds (not imitations made from cubic zirconia or silicon carbide) that are chemically, physically, and optically identical to a rock-sourced diamond. Each lab-grown diamond in the earrings ranges from 0.85 to .11 carats, are certified by Independent Laboratories, and are set in 925 sterling silver.
