The Copper-Clad Outdoor Basketweave Planter
Handcrafted of durable fiberglass cloth (used in the bodies of boats and automobiles) plated with a layer of real copper, our "copperglass" planter weighs little more than a thin plastic planter. Developed by a husband and wife team who were unhappy with the cheap, plastic-looking metallic finishes of common planters, the copperglass planter doesn't have the bulk of solid metal, and is thus easy to move around the house or yard, or to bring indoors when the weather turns cooler. Coated with a protective finish, the planter is completely weather- and corrosion-resistant, and like solid copper will develop an attractive patina over time (periodic polishing maintains original appearance if preferred). Includes instructions for adding drainage
