The Portable Dry Ice Maker.

This is the portable device that is capable of producing a 1 lb. block of dry ice in as little as 60 seconds for keeping foods and beverages cold at picnics and parties. At -109.3 F, dry ice is a more effective coolant than regular ice, and it won't melt, but instead sublimates to odorless CO2 gas. The device requires connection to a cylinder of compressed liquid CO2 with a dip tube or siphon (not included, cylinder with dip tube/siphon must be purchased from local gas dealers or welding supply shops). Upon opening the cylinder's valve, CO2 is forced into the device's chamber, where it vaporizes, expands, and becomes extremely cold; excess vapor is vented through its vertical filter slots, and the remaining vapor accumulates in the chamber and is compressed into a 7" L x 3" W x 2" D block of dry ice. One 50-lb. CO2 cylinder at room temperature yields up to 11 blocks of dry ice, handling requires use of insulated gloves (not included). 8 1/2" H x 4 1/2" W. (5 lbs.)
