The Best Christmas Tree Stand.
This tree stand was selected best in tests conducted by the Hammacher Schlemmer Institute for sturdiness and ease of use. Its unique sleeve and lock design allows one person to erect a tree unassisted in less than a minute, without ever having to crawl under the tree branches. Simply slip the trunk holder onto the tree, spin the tightening ring and secure with the three large-handle bolts. Then, tip the trunk holder into the stable, 20-inch base and the tree is set up. Minor adjustments can be made by depressing the foot pedal to partially unlock the tree, making it completely vertical, and then releasing the pedal to re-lock the tree in place. The dark green plastic base provides excellent stability, and holds 1 1/2 gallons of water, ensuring the tree stays both upright and properly hydrated. Holds trees up to 10 feet tall, and the trunk holder accepts trunks as wide as 5". Intended for use with live trees up to 100 lbs. Made of impact- and rust-resistant polymer. 11 1/2" H x 22 1/2" W x 22 1/2" L. (17 lbs.)
