These meticulously tooled leather bags are produced by the manufacturer who outfitted Admiral Byrd’s expeditions to Antarctica in the 1920s and 1930s. And during both World Wars, the manufacturer provided pilots incredibly durable leather helmets, gloves, and jackets, some of which are exhibited in the Smithsonian and the Museum of Flight in Seattle. Made from antiqued grade A lambskin chosen for its rugged surface character and soft hand, each piece is uniquely handsome and incredibly durable.
