The Motion-Activated Cat Deterrent
Using a sudden but harmless burst of ultrasonic sound, this motion-activated device keeps curious cats out of gardens, children's sandboxes, flowerbeds, and other outdoor areas you choose, without chemicals or fences. Unlike other deterrents that run constantly, this weather-resistant unit won't sound until a cat moves nearby, when the alarm (inaudible to humans) will create a safe but startling effect that trains cats to avoid the area in the future. The alarm protects an area up to 280' sq. and can be wall-mounted or used with its included ground stake. Harmless ultrasonic alert sounds for three seconds, and is accompanied by a red indicator light so you know the deterrent is active. Requires one 9-volt battery for up to six months of use
