After rigorous testing for visibility, clarity, ease of use, shatter-resistance, and features, the Hammacher Schlemmer Institute concluded that this is the best fog-free shower mirror available. Tested in a steam environment with a water temperature of 105º F, this mirror scored highest by presenting clear images with no condensation and with very little fogging. Unlike other mirrors that have to be twisted manually to change magnification, this mirror uses a precise, yet simple 1-5X zoom mechanism that provides personalized magnification at the touch of a button. Its unbreakable, polycarbonate mirror surface did not shatter or show any signs of damage after it was dropped five times onto a tile floor from 5'.
