The Instant Home Theater System.

Unlike television-based home theater systems which include a bulky display unit, or other projector-based systems which require a minimum depth of 12' for projection, this all-in-one projector and DVD/CD player takes up scant room, produces a pristine picture, is easy to set up, and only needs 6 1/2' of projection space. Installation is simple: once plugged in, the system is ready for viewing. The included 80" diagonal screen easily extends to the correct 16 x 9 display ratio for viewing widescreen movies. The colorful AccuCinemaTM image can be displayed on other surfaces from up to 25' away (with a picture size up to 25' diag). Four user-selected projection modes are available t o suit any lighting environment. The projector includes two high-quality built-in JVC speakers which produce 10 watts per channel of clear, powerful sound, and an external 40-watt subwoofer (not shown) for clean, booming bass. The integrated DVD player uses progessive-scan technology for a sharp and clear picture, and includes Dolby Digital and DTS sound decoding for the best sound possible from DVD soundtracks. A video game console can also be connected for large-screen play. The replaceable lamp is rated 3000 hours. A full-function remote is included (two AA batteries required). 7" H x 131/2" W x 121/4" D.
