Two turbines on the rear of this radio-controlled car supply an extra power boost similar to that of jet engines, propelling the vehicle in bursts of speed up to 18 miles per hour. Despite its impressive acceleration, its controls are simple and precise, with a steering alignment knob on the remote control that allows fine-tuned control and enabling the car to execute knife-sharp turns at top speed. Heavy-duty front and rear foam bumpers deflect impacts without marring walls or furniture, while its suspension system helps maintain stability over tiled floors, minimizing bounce in order to maximize speed. Spoilers and fenders detach easily in a crash, and reattach in seconds, for simulated road damage. Requires one 9V battery and 9.6V rechargeable battery pack, available in most hobby shops.
