The built-in folding dock charges and plays your iPod, and the unit includes a separate input for the iPod Shuffle, while the easy-to-read oversized, backlit LCD displays song information, such as artist and title. The radio receives FM1, FM2, TV and weather-system audio; four pre-sets are available for each band. The compact Reson8 speakers produce crisp, full audio that is clear and distortion-free. The unit also includes a built-in co oking timer and clock. A handheld remote unit controls both radio and iPod functions, and a battery back-up maintains clock settings in the event of a power loss.
